Our staff are dedicated to providing you with a customer service experience like no other, so come in and introduce yourself, and let one of our friendly, professional staff show you around our fantastic gym. 


Name:
Nicolle Harwood-Nash

Position: Gym Manager and Personal Trainer

Background: Born in Zimbabwe, raised on the tropical island of Mauritius and living in Perth, Australia, since 2003.

Qualifications: Certificate IV Complete Fitness and Master Trainer, Certificate of Nutrition for Fitness, Bachelor of Communications, International Financial Advisors Qualification, Advanced Diploma of Business Management and Advertising, and an Advanced Diploma of Photography.

Happiness is: Daily workouts and reaching goals, working with and changing the lives of my lovely clients, my incredible family, Twinkle and Goliath (my two crazy little dogs), travelling, sunshine, music and driving with the roof down!

Why Victoria Avenue: I joined this gym as a member early 2013 and it was love at first lift. I then went on to become a Personal Trainer at the centre, and got more involved by becoming a casual employee of the centre as well. Within a year, I was working closely alongside the gym manager, and before I knew it, the honour of managing the gym which I had grown to love incredibly, was put in my hands. Victoria Avenue Fitness Centre has played a major role in shaping my career and growing my passion for the fitness industry and this very special little fitness centre, which I am so proud and lucky to be a part of!

Favourite Exercise: Stiff-leg deadlifts all the way!

Name: Max Richards

Position: Personal Trainer
 
Background: Born and raised in Perth, Scottish background.
 
Qualifications: Certificate III & IV in Fitness, Fitness Australia Accredited, First Aid

Why Victoria Avenue: At the age of 17 I saw how training was benefitting both my physical and mental health, and so from then onwards weight training has been my main enduring passion. After 2 years of Science at Curtin I decided that it would be much better suited to Personal Training over a desk job. After a year at my previous gym I decided I was ready to rebuild at a location that would allow me to find my niche. I had not known much of Victoria Avenue however upon meeting the Staff I had a great feeling that I would gel with the Team, not to mention the scenic location. Looking forward to building my lifestyle around this exceptional club!

Guilty Pleasure: Burrito from Zambrero (mmm guacamole!)
